High above the hills, located between Florence and Lucca in the heart of Tuscany, in Buggiano Castello, lies Villa Sermolli — a 17th-century residence where history lingers in every stone and love stories find their perfect stage. Yes. For weddings, Villa Sermolli is reserved exclusively for you and your guests, including all rooms, apartments, gardens, terraces, and event spaces. This allows you to celebrate in complete privacy and enjoy the villa as your own Tuscan home for the weekend.
Villa Sermolli can host up to 130 wedding guests. Our covered Limonaia accommodates up to 86 guests, while larger celebrations can be arranged with an additional marquee extension.
From 2027 onwards, Villa Sermolli will offer 38 rooms accommodating up to 80 overnight guests. For larger weddings, we are happy to recommend nearby partner hotels for additional accommodation.
Civil ceremonies can be held in the villa’s Baroque Garden or on the panoramic terrace, both officially recognised ceremony locations by the Municipality of Buggiano. Religious ceremonies can take place in the historic 10th-century church located just a short stroll from the villa.
Exclusive hire of the villa starts from €16,000 per weekend in low season and €18,000 in high season, including accommodation, breakfast, and room service for up to 80 guests. Wedding menus start from €100 per person, while beverage packages start from €70 per person.
